Peer Support
A place to seek support
The Living Room’s LGBTQIA2S+ Intentional Peer Support Program draws from our own lived experiences to provide support to LGBTQIA2S+ youth in Clackamas County with challenges they are facing. We recognize that being a young LGBTQIA2S+ person can feel isolating; we aim to increase connection and foster a sense of community. We work alongside youth to create space for empowerment and personal growth.
We offer two different forms of peer support. Our One-on-One Peer Support program is a way for youth to connect one-on-one with our Peer Support Specialist to discuss topics they need to talk about with someone they can relate to. For youth looking for more community support, we offer Group Peer Support. This is a space where youth meet in a casual group setting to hold space for one another.
