Make a Difference

The Living Room is a program of New Avenues for Youth that is invested in the resilience of LGBTQIA2s+ youth. The Living Room supports and celebrates LGBTQIA2s+ youth, ages 14-20, in Clackamas County. Programming is youth led and services are rooted in youth-adult partnership. Alongside New Avenues’ other LGBTQIA2s+ services, The Living Room offers accessible programming and resources that encourage the personal growth, sense of belonging, and development of leadership skills among LGBTQIA2s+ youth and their allies.

Your generosity allows us to provide critical services to young people experiencing homelessness and housing instability in our community and help change their lives.

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the young people New Avenues serves!

Become a Monthly Giver!

At The Living Room, we are invested in the resilience of LGBTQIA2s+ youth and creating a safe home to thrive in Clackamas County. This year we have seen this resilience exercised in new and astounding ways and have been fortunate to grow and learn with our community. As Clackamas County works to recover from the challenges of the past year, including COVID-19, and unprecedented wildfires, the impact on local LGBTQIA2s+ youth is great. We are striving to keep resilience, care, and hope at the center of our work as we continue to show up for these youth.

A strong home is more than just a safe space, it is also a strong, supportive community. We invite you to join us as one of our monthly giver!

Please consider establishing a recurring monthly donation of at least $15 each month and you’re in! As a Monthly Giver, we’ll celebrate you throughout the year! With your support, together we can provide a safe haven for LGBTQIA2s+ youth in Clackamas County.
