Annual Events

 

GSA Summit

An annual leadership conference open to all youth and Gender and Sexuality Alliance, Gay Straight Alliance, Queer Straight Alliance, and other LGBTQIA2S+ focused school clubs in the Clackamas County area. The day is filled with keynote speakers, youth-led workshops, resources, and more.

Alternative Prom

Also known as “Queer Prom,” this event is a fairly typical prom, but centered around LGBTQIA2S+ youth! It is a night where youth get to bring who they like and dress in the way that feels right to them without judgement. Featuring lots of dancing, activities, giveaways, and great memories!

Pride Month

A weekend filled with Pride events, including the Trans March and Pride Parade, that’s kicked off with a community BBQ on Friday.

Trans Day of Remembrance and Intergenerational Potluck

Every fall The Living Room observes Trans Day of Remembrance through youth-planned activities. This often is also connected to our Intergenerational Potluck, a time for our whole community to connect.
